We are a multi-sports provider based in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

We pride ourselves on delivering a range of sporting activities, whilst creating a fun and exciting experience for the children.

We currently work in several schools across the Saddleworth area of Oldham providing a range of services within these schools.

Our mission at Sanus School Sport is to make the sporting experience fun and constructive for the participants.

To use sport as a tool to enhance a child’s physical activity levels, personal skills, team working skills, behavioural skills and to consolidate their understanding of the benefits of exercise and physical activity.

At Sanus School Sport our focus is on young children within the primary school age ranging from years one to six.

We offer a fun, comfortable and structured learning experience for the children, which in turn enhances their gross motor skills.

We also believe in coach continuity throughout our programs, thus enabling a rapport between coach and children.

With the current obesity levels in young children on the rise, the government’s plans to reduce this will of course impact on school provision requirements. We understand the difficulty of meeting the additional “physical activity” targets set by the government, whilst stressing the need to keep it fun and structured.

Our aim is to help schools provide this by including sport within the school environment in a fun but constructive way.
A programme can be structured around each schools individual needs covering several areas such as PPA Cover, In School Coaching (ISC), Multi-Skills and Extra-Curricular Clubs

We also offer additional packages such as Teacher CPD and Child Leadership Courses.
